Thyson Technology continues expansion with string of new hires

Analyser systems specialist Thyson Technology has continued its expansion with a series of key technical appointments in the last six months.

The new appointments include two further design engineers to complement the company’s already strong design house, an additional four workshop engineers, a new service engineer, a document controller, a project planner, a health and safety manager and two new sales engineers.

Mike Braddock, managing director of Thyson Technology, said: “We have made these key hires in order to ensure that we continue to compete at the highest level on quality and service and to meet our order book.

“We take quality, health and safety and the environment very seriously and over the years this has become an integral part of our business. Our new health and safety manager will excellence in this area for both internal working and external client-site contracts.

“We are thrilled to have our new members on board and truly believe that they will complement our existing team.”

Thyson Technology’s two new sales engineers have a wealth of experience and knowledge covering a wide range of industries from oil and gas, waste and water, chemical and power.

Andrew Bidston is a time-served engineer and a member of the IMC and CEA and has given many lectures on steam boiler control and steam process operation. He also has considerable experience of offering end to end turnkey solutions within the process industry covering many disciplines such as analytical, pressure temperature level and flow.

Andrew will be working primarily on new projects covering all aspects of Thyson Technology’s portfolio.

Nicholas Blything has 10 years’ experience working throughout the UK as a Sales Engineer and has hands-on experience of selling bespoke engineering equipment and solutions. His diverse experience will allow him to understand the day-to-day reliability and service demands of our customers.

Nicholas’ role will be primarily focused on Thyson’s installed base.

Thyson Technology builds solutions including gas analyser and sampling systems and also supplies gas detectors and calibration gas cylinders for businesses across the gil & gas, pharmaceitical, food and drink and general industrial industries.
